Just Jets is back (with expanded coverage)
Just Jets is returning for the 2024-25 season with exciting new announcements!
It’s been awhile but we are finally back, Jets Nation!
I am pleased to share today that Just Jets – our weekly newsletter covering the New York Jets – is returning for the 2024-25 football season, and with some exciting new announcements…
First off, you’ll see that we have undergone some rebranding with a brand new logo that we’re really excited about. When the Jets updated their logos and uniforms, we figured we might as well try to match their energy with some updates of our own.
Secondly, in addition to my weekly coverage I am pleased to announce that one of my best friends in the world Ryan Marcone will be joining Just Jets this season as a writer. Funny enough, our friendship initially began when bonding over the Jets’ run to the postseason in 2009-10 when Ryan gave me one of the “Win and We’re In!” towels from the team’s Week 17 clincher vs. the Cincinnati Bengals. We’ve pretty much been friends ever since and I am so excited that we can finally collaborate on something like this together.
And last but certainly not least, I am extremely excited to announce that we are launching Just Jets: The Podcast as we lead up to Week 1! Our brand new weekly podcast will be co-hosted by Rasiel Guevara and myself, along with our Executive Producer Mark Levine. Ras and Mark are two of the biggest Jets fans I know and have been working in sports media for years. We all had the unique pleasure of working together at MLB.com several years back and I am thrilled to be working with the two of them again.
We’ll share more information as well as the link to the podcast feeds as soon as we’re able to.
It’s funny to think that this site was originally created in the aftermath of the most hyped Jets season of all-time getting destroyed by an Aaron Rodgers torn Achilles and while us fans still have those scars, it sure is exciting to be back to football season.
Just Jets was created to be an alternative source for news, updates, stats, analysis, opinions and predictions around the team without the typical social media nonsense or media snark that has become all-too-common when it comes to covering this team. This season (fingers crossed) could be one of the more entertaining and hopeful years we’ve had in a long time if things go according to plan, and I personally cannot wait to talk to you all about it soon.
J-E-T-S! JETS! JETS! JETS!
THUMBS UP!!!
